Our Story
We select matcha for its origin, harvest, cultivar, and the people who grow its character.
At the heart of our collection is Uji Hikari, a rare cultivar grown in generational tea gardens in Uji, Kyoto. Produced in limited quantities, its remarkable character begins with the cultivar itself and the care taken through cultivation and spring harvest.
The same attention to craft carries through our entire collection. From single cultivars to carefully composed blends from Uji and Yame, each is carefully processed and slowly stone ground to preserve the character of the leaf.
